Worth every moment and penny spent(2 years worth).
The gears and shafts are RGB components along with the basket and everything
asides from the custom case cover that Padgett's had cast. I don't know if
you can get a sense of the difference but the gears are not going to come
apart like some updates or aftermarket bits. This one was built for the
application of torque and power. Parts no matter how perfect as they may
seem do need to be replaced so a complete service and parts manual for a RGB
is a must. Parts are available from Padgett's and if I can confirm the
dry-clutch GSXR limited may use the same fiber plates giving yet another
source for parts.
1st gear is very tall and feels like you are launching a RS or TZ125. Once
its going everything is pure as silk.Very little effort getting in and out
of the gearbox and the best description is shear happiness.
The new arrangements allows for the power to be put to the rear in a much
more controllable manner. No more flip it in first and second fears but care
has to be taken when feathering out the clutch or it is going to put you on
your ass. Clutch noise is more than a TZ250 and more like the 748 or 916
noise makers. Gives the people in the cars next door a fear that some part
of the bike is coming their way!
