Or in other words "Can you build me a motor and pipes in
three weeks outputing 140+BHP" With very little time to dial the bike in before Daytona it'll take a lot of work. "And a lot of beer!" Hopefully this page will be completed within 3 weeks, click on any picture to enlarge. After measuring the motor this is what i found Disc Timing - open 147deg BTDC, Close 54deg ATDC
From here on i will document all modifications i make to the motor as and when they happen.
So that's basically it, all the hard work
is now done, with the exception of making the wedge to tilt #3 carb.
Scott sent the motor back to me to rebuild to sort out, this
time i've rebuilt the motor and fitted it into my chassis so i can set it up on the dyno. it really does look worse that it is ;o) !!!! Anyway, the motors now fitted in my chassis and a base run has been made on the dyno after running it in, the motor still has to be dialled in properly yet so should add at least another 15hp on the top end :o) Here's Scott's motor fitted in my chassis Here's Scotts base run V's a Kawasaki ZX-636R CLICK HERE TO SEE A SHORT DYNO RUN VIDEO OF THE BIKE More to follow!
